That way, when I switch to a window, say the PGN window, the board, DB switcher, game list, etc, will also appear.

Printing of Games, w/diagrams, annotations, variations, and game info!

Printing. I have games, I want to print them. I've tried PGN readers, and determined that most of them suck. ChessBase doesn't suck, but it's Windowz only (I happen to use Windowz, but maybe some people don't?), and it costs enough to feed a small 3rd world country for a year.

I know it's not a terribly 'core' feature, but it would be awesome.

Six-piece Nalimov Tablebase support

Now that 1.5 terabyte drives are available for $100, it is quite feasible to download the six-piece Nalimov Tablebases. ChessDB is wonderful for many things, not the least of which is studying endgames; add to that capability the six-piece Nalimovs and my joy will be made full.

fisher random chess

When opening a pgn from a fisher random or chess960 game, Chessdb and its predecessor Scid would parse the pgn up to castling and dump the rest ot the moves, this could be easily modified by knowing that the king anf rook end up in their regular positions. How about modifing Chessdb to acommodate this popular variant of chess?
