Cannot open the logisim app on MacOS.

No bug, xnor is thru for an odd number of thru. This is why xnor is useful for parity test..

Open up your macos terminal and type:
brew install logisim-evolution

You need to have homebrew working on your mac. After you installed it, it should open and work correctly. I hope I'm not too late...

Just download 2.7.1 and I have java installed on my mac but unfortunately when i open logisim it immediatley crashes and gives and error of javaapplication stub quit unexpectedly can anyone help im a student and need this to start work.

Fails to open on Java 8+, MacOS Catalina

When I try to open Logisim on my MacOS (Catalina) with Java 12.0.2, I get the following error:
To open “Logisim”, you need to install the legacy Java SE 6 runtime.

In fact, I also tried Java 11 and Java 8 to get it to work, but they both also failed. Since only one version of Java can run at one time, this is an issue for anyone who needs to run Java 8+ and Logisim.

This seems to be an issue with other open source apps as well, requiring a Java SE 6 dependency on Catalina. However, Catalina is incompatible with Java 6, and requires a script modification to run the installer. I traced back the issue. In the XnorGate.java in the computeOutput function in case the code runs to the else branch, it calls computeExactlyOne function, which is nonsense. The if statement should be replaced with a simple call to the computeOddParity function

Hey!

I've found a bug in the truth table of the 3 and 4 input XNOR gate (pictures attached) in version 2.7.1

XNOR(true,true,true) should be false, but the output is true
XNOR(true,true,true,false) should be false, but the output is true
