Request for notepad-like function

I take extensive notes during a game that I've been keeping in an external text editor. That's kind of a pain because I have to alt-tab out of Civ. It would be really handy to have a button that could bring up a popup where I could edit a text file and save it off. Nothing fancy, but something that allowed me to write more than would fit on a sticky.
