However, in XP the initial focus is on the left (navigation pane). </p> <p>It would be very helpful to have an option in the settings which would allow the choice of which side to open on.<br /> </p> <p>As you can see in the graphic, the initial location is s:\ which is gray on the left. This location was specified in the shortcut to open explorer.
