cpanel proxy for a subdomain

Hello,

I don't know if this is a feature request or not.

I am wanting to be able to use cpanel proxy for a subdomain.

For example: http://server2.domain.com.au

Can this be achieved?

If not, is this something that you will be looking at in the future?

webmail asks for username and password twice on cPanel 11

When I use www.domainname.com.au/webmail everything works fine.
But when I use webmail.domainname.com.au it asks me for a username and
password twice!
After I do it twice it then goes in and works fine.
I have to do this everytime I use the cpanel proxy and its annoying!

Existing addon domain partly deleted

I had an addon domain installed and configured with ftp, email, etc. I installed cpanel proxy using auto installer and it went smooth without a hitch. Later, I check my email and I was being asked for my password which was odd. Then I couldn't log into ftp. I checked on my addon domains and seems that the "addondomain.com" was missing from my one addon domain. This all seems odd, but I'm only presuming it was the proxy that messed up the addon domain since it happened immediately after install. Thanks.

Webmail doesn't work in cPanel 11.1

Our hostingprovider has upgraded his version of cPanel to version number 11. Now my cpanelproxy install stopped working. After logging in, it refers to an URL with portnumber 2095, so proxying fails...

Horde Address book

I have a slight problem with Horde and the address book
when running under cpanelproxy. When I use it normally
(ie http://www.blah.com/webmail or using the port
numbers) There is no problem, however when I use
webmail.domain.com (cpanelproxy) I am unable to edit
entries already in the address book...

It goes a little something like this:

When editing a contact in Horde, users are seeing the
following error:

Fatal error: Cannot create references to/from string
offsets nor overloaded objects in
/usr/local/cpanel/base/horde/lib/Horde/Variables.php on
line 182

This does not occur for new entries.

Steps to reproduce:

log into horde. Click Address book then "new contact"

Add Name and email address, then click Save

Ensure still in address book, or go back in.

Goto Browse (If available) or select search and find
the account.

Click the little edit icon

Change the email address and click save

The error "Fatal error: Cannot create references
to/from string offsets nor overloaded objects in
/usr/local/cpanel/base/horde/lib/Horde/Variables.php on
line 182"

just to reiterate, this does not occur when I use the
cpanel defaults of blah.com/webmail or :2095

Can anyone else reproduce this, and if so, any pointers
for a fix?

cPanel Proxy producing extra backslashes in email.

When email is sent from Horde IMP, characters such as
', ", and \ are producing extra backslashes ("\") in
the message.

I believe it has something to do with the magic_quotes
setting in the IMP php.ini file, but don't know how to
check this????

This only happens when logged in using cPanel Proxy. If
I log in as normal www.domain.com/webmail there's no
problem.

C Panel proxy installed and email access through
squirrel mail work fine. If you get an email you
would like to forward to a third party when sending
the email you get the message

Cannot write data with phpMyAdmin

I’ve noticed that phpmyadmin does not function when
used through the proxy. When I go to insert a record
via the phpmyadmin interface, no matter what I put in
the blanks it inserts a blank record into the DB. I
cant edit the record to change it either. When I do it
remains blank after saving.

Horde menu broken

I have the script installed and working, however we use
horde on linux and it seems to break alot of it. The
css seems a bit scrambled, the tree menu on the left
doesnt fully work. So somehow it seems to be effecting
the css and javascript side of things. I wouldnt have
thought it would since its just redirecting traffic.
