Whenever I start the game on my Ibook G4 the screen stays black and
never moves. I've downloaded the file about 3 different times and I
can't even play it. Could someone help me out?

Hello.

I play cube some months and notice that last 2 weeks
on most popular cube servers exists "hackers".
They "hack" everything: their health, weapon, armor,
appearance. Most of them is unkillable, hidden and
they kill most other players by 5-10 fireballs from
the sky at one moment.

Most players change active server, but
those "hackers" follow them. The more popular server
is, the more "hackers" exists on it.

The nicknames of some "hackers" in game:
- hacked;
- Antaios.

Can you solve this problem? It would be very useful
if cube will have special interface for voting for
nickname to ban hacker. As for now, game begins
completely unusable... I meet such "hackers", which
writes that they are "gods" every day...

The Game Is Great But There Is Some Things I Noticed;
1) The Character moves too fast and the sensitivity
of left, right, and up, down is too strong. It would
be great if you slowed down the character and enabled
the player to choose different sensitivitys.
2) The only way to play multiplayer is to connect to
the main server and get a list of servers, you should
have an option to connect directly to a computer
running cubesrv, for instance if some one want to
system link and play on a lan.

Cube on MAC problem

Has anyone had any luck with the MAC version. When I try to list
the network games, everything freezes. I have to power off the MAC
to get things working again. I'm using a 15" powerbook. 1.67GHz
OS X 10.4.2

2hr 28mb downloaded file wont install!!!!

Im fuming wasting 2hrs downloading a file that wont install.
it says C:\docume~1\owners\locals~1\temp\ couldnt be
created or written to.

I dont have a locals~1 folder so how can I install this and
get it over with? please to God help I dont want that 2hrs
wasted for nothing.

Good morning,

I have downloaded the cube_2004_05_22.tar file. Now
when I try to launch the cube.bat file the following
message appears:
cube.bat: line 1: bincube.exe: command not found

Could you help me?

Cube fails to run on a 64 bit Ubuntu "Hoary" linux os
with an AMD 64 bit processor with all updated drivers
as it says, "Your processor does not have a supported
Cube client." when the ./cube_unix command is typed
after accessing the appropriate directory "cube". I
hope there will be 64 bit linux/processor support in
the near future.

Unable to connect multiplayer

When I try to connect in multiplayer mode all options
say 'different cube protocol' . If I try to connect to
one anyway the message is 'Wrong protocol You:118
server:121'

Can anyone please help me
