Just chiming in with a "me too". I get this error every time I try to use CUERipper with my Pioneer BDR-XD05. It seems to be an issue with CUERipper and Pioneer external BD drives. EAC works fine with them.

Just got this. Win 10 pro, up to date. It got past detecting gaps, then ripped for a good couple of minutes, but crashed multiple times. Tried quitting/restarting CUEripper, found that it was still visible in TaskManager after quitting (new instance couldn't open disc drive).

Win10 reboot fixed the problem.

Pioneer BDR-XD07B w/USB3.0 connection. Lenovo "tiny" format i5 desktop.

It seems that it is working now using v2.1.5.
Maybe a windows update fixed it (Now using Windows 10 Pro, x64, Version 10.0.16299 Build 16299).

But CD rips are reported as not accurate. I created a new ticket: bug #51

This is a follow up to bug #49 .

With every CD in the last time, there are multiple suspicious positions in each track and every track cannot be verified as accurate (AccurateRip returns another value).
The log then suggests "No tracks could be verified as accurate. You may have a different pressing from the one(s) in the database".
However I think it is very unlikely, as this happened with 4 CDs.

Why is it happening?
Is it possible that it is due to the read offset being detected incorrectly?

Is the extraction nevertheless usable?

Is it possible to run it on systems other than Windows?

There's Mono which is an alternative implementation of .NET…
What else may be blocking it?

I'm mostly interested in getting FlacCL to run on GNU/Linux or macOS

Well, generally it works on Windows 10 of course. But i've heard reports before about some CD drives being incompatible. What is the model of your CD drive?

Hello,

CUERipper v2.1.5 and v2.1.6 are not working on Windows 10.

I tried 2 different CDs. At a certain percentage (another one for each CD), CUERipper stops with this error:

Exception: Error reading CD: unit attention: POWER ON, RESET, OR BUS DEVICE RESET OCCURRED

Hints:
CUERipper v2.1.5 worked fine on the same machine running Windows 7.
I am using Windows 10 Pro, x64, Version 10.0.16299, Build 16299. I am running the application as administrator. I also tried running in Windows 7 compatibility mode with the same results.

How can the error be fixed?
