CVSwebreadcgi compilation

When i attempt to compile CVSWEBREAD.CGI it fails,
the reason i am attempting to compile is because my
login attempt fails and apache tells me it is the
cvswebread.cgi's fault...

cvswebedit.cgi PROBLEM with user login

Hello All,
I guess it hasn't been addressed how to log the user in
to do an edit. As far as I can understand, if we don't
log in a user we can never edit the file.

Has anyone been able to make a patch for this or
figured a work around.

could not download a directory

I could not download a directory via cvswebclient

Has somebody a solution or fix for this problem?

After downloading a binary ms word file out of the cvs
repository I could not read the file, because I
received ~50% only. When I do a checkout in a command
line I can read the file.

Has anybody solved this problem yet?

cvs-web hangs with logfix patch

I installed the cvs-web 2.2 and applied the patch
logfix. After a restart of the web server I can enter
directories without files without any problem but if I
enter a directory with files cvs-web hangs and a window
pop up with the message 'the document contained no data
try again ......... '. Without the patch I can enter
also directories with and without files. The reason why
I appliy the patch is I will visual a normal cvs log
entry (text comment) and not which user from which
machine .........

Hi,

1- While doing importing of the file to the directory -
it imports zero bytes.
2- While importing a MSWORD file it is giving
Whitespaces in the filename Error (110), eventhough
the filename has single name.
3- While downloading a directory it is downloading 0
bytes.

Are these problems are bugs?

I get the following error when trying to access
history:

cvs [history aborted]: no such host 'c

I have the %CVSROOT = (
'TEST' => 'c:/cvs/test'
);

This does not seem to work.

Can not download .html or .h files

I have found that I cannot download files with an
extension of .html, .txt or .h. Why is this?

Also concerning download directories, once the TAR
file is transferred, what can be used to extract it on
WINNT?

I posted a list of possible errors in the support
section, that would perhaps have been better posted
here. Any assistance or insight as to the nature of
the problems I'm dealing with would be greatly
appreciated.
