Speed of uplaoding files

I am using CVS at aticorp.org and have a suggestion to
spped the downloading/uploading of files
It would be nice to change the creation of new browser
windows in the following cases

When at a directory list have the (E) link create a
new browser window so that when that operation is
compete the use has the orginal directory ready for
the next transaction.

When in the (E) link have the edit file outside
browser stay in the same window.
