gtk+ not found

Hi, I like to try dashpc0.49 over a ubuntu distro;
during ./configure command i fault in the following error:

checking for gtk+-2.0 >= 2.0.0... Package gtk+-2.0 was
not found in the pkg-config search path....

So I had try to install the folloeing package with any
result:
libgtk2.0-common
libgtk2.0-dev
