Busybox is really a great program, but it is better for embedded Systems, like Linux on a PDA, and not for a Firewall on CD. I will start today or tomorrow and replace the Init System, because I wanted to do it anyway. Hi girls (any?) and boys! How do we, as developers, update our local sources from e.g. ftp://ftp.de.devil-linux.org/src/0.5beta/ in the build system at /build/src? Somehow I could think of a file in CVS that lists all added and deleted sources, including the online source (e.g. ftp://ftp.de.devil-linux.org/src/0.5beta/) So after a "cvs update" I'd call this script, let's name it src-update, which will take care of getting the latest source files and removing the corresponding old ones. It has to remove the corresponding compile tree under /build/tmp, too. Heiko I know for you it's easy - you've got the latest sources anyway :) PS: Today I'm to lacy, so I just got wget to download the whole directory, but I think that's not the real method. -- MfG / Regards Friedrich Lobenstock |

I did a quick search over freshmeat and found the following project management tools (selection reduced): Double Choco Latte http://dcl.sourceforge.net Mantis http://mantisbt.sourceforge.net Bugzilla http://www.mozilla.org/projects/bugzilla Tutos http://www.tutos.org And of course the Sourceforge Software, for which we will never get an update, except we pay for it. The last public version was 2.5, which was released in 2000. But to be honest, there was no tool which I really liked. But we have to use, what we get. Tell me what you think. cu Heiko |
