Project description:
PWLib is a moderately large class library that was originally designed
as a method to produce applications that run on both Microsoft Windows
and Unix/X11 systems. It includes classes for I/O portability,
multi-threading portability, aid in producing Unix daemons and NT
services portably, and all sorts of Internet protocols. It also
offers basic "container" classes such as arrays, linear lists, sorted
lists (RB Tree), and dictionaries (hash tables) which were all created
before the STL. This library is used by the OpenH323 library.

L7-filter is a Netfilter match module which classifies packets based
on application layer (OSI layer 7) data. This means that it is able
to classify packets as HTTP, FTP, Gnucleus, Kazaa, etc., regardless
of ports. It complements existing matches that classify based on port
numbers, packet length, TOS bits, and so on. Combined with Linux QoS,
it allows for full layer 7 packet shaping.

DSPAM is a server-side statistical anti-spam agent for Unix email
servers. It masquerades as the email server's local delivery agent
and effectively filters spam using a combination of de-obfuscation
techniques, specialized algorithms, and statistical analysis. The
result is an administratively maintenance-free, self-learning
anti-spam tool. DSPAM has yielded real-world success rates beyond
99.9% accuracy with less than a 0.01% chance of false positives.

Dnsmasq is a lightweight, easy to configure DNS forwarder and DHCP
server. It is designed to provide DNS and (optionally) DHCP to a
small network. It can serve the names of local machines which are not
in the global DNS. The DHCP server integrates with the DNS server and
allows machines with DHCP-allocated addresses to appear in the DNS
with names configured either in each host or in a central
configuration file. Dnsmasq supports static and dynamic DHCP leases
and BOOTP for network booting of diskless machines.

read-only root file system. The handling of the -p option in usermod
was fixed. useradd does not copy files from the skel directory if the
home directory exists. su now ignores SIGINT while authenticating.
groupadd was rewritten for use with getopt_long(). The translations
for cs, de, fi, fr, nl, pl, pt, ru, and sk were updated. All roff man
pages were regenerated using DocBook XSL Stylesheets 1.69.0.

The changes in this release are as follows:
This release adds a safety net around calls to SA to prevent potential
runaway clone processes with SA older than 3.1. Releasing a message
with a different quarantine ID than requested is now fatal. Undefined
variable dsn_cutoff_level is now ignored. Handling of syntactically
invalid IP address in lookups is documented. Parsing of an IPv6
address in $*_method is fixed. On submitting to an MTA, the parameter
BODY=8BITMIME is now passed on when needed. This release checks during
startup that $myhostname is a fully qualified domain name. Sending the
mail header has been sped up. IP lookups and reading the loop in SMTP
DATA state have been optimzed.

Project description:
amavisd-new is a high-performance and reliable  interface between MTAs
and one or more content  checkers, including virus scanners, and/or
the  Mail::SpamAssasin Perl module. It talks to the MTA via  (E)SMTP
or LMTP, or by using helper programs. No  timing gaps exist in the
design, which could cause a  mail loss. It is normally positioned at
or near a central  mailer, not necessarily where the user's mailboxes
and  final delivery takes place.

No changes were made to the code since 6.2, but there have been
several changes to the Makefiles and configuration files to fix
problems with compiling PCRE on various operating systems.
Specifically, there were problems on systems where C++ was not
installed or not completely installed. These should now be fixed. In
addition, there is a configure option --disable-cpp to force it not
to try to build the C++ wrapper.

GNU Wget is a utility for noninteractive download of  files from the
Web. It supports HTTP and FTP  protocols, as well as retrieval
through HTTP  proxies. It can follow HTML links, download many 
pages, and convert the links for local viewing. It  can also mirror
FTP hierarchies or only those files  that have changed. Wget has been
designed for  robustness over slow network connections; if a  download
fails due to a network problem, it will  keep retrying until the whole
file has been  retrieved.
