Nail is a mail user agent derived from Berkeley Mail 8.1. It is
intended to provide the functionality of the POSIX mailx command with
built-in support for MIME messages, IMAP (including caching and
disconnected operations), POP3, SMTP, and S/MIME. Nail offers its
full command set both for interactive and batch use, and is
especially useful for sending attachments from scripts or for reading
mail via slow connections and on bad terminals. In recent system
environments, nail is Unicode/UTF-8 capable.

mirroring capabilities and will reconnect and continue transfers in
the event of a disconnection. Also, if you quit the program while
transfers are still in progress, it will switch to nohup mode and
finish the transfers in the background. Additional protocols

connections limitation and more.

updating method, and mail handling. A new, memory efficient, pattern
matching algorithm (a multipattern variant of Boyer-Moore) is used;
Aho-Corasick is now only used for regular expression extended

offset specification is used. Support for MD5 based signatures and
extended regular expression were added. ClamAV can now unpack MS
cabinet and CHM files, and scan inside PowerPoint documents.

with names configured either in each host or in a central
configuration file. Dnsmasq supports static and dynamic DHCP leases
and BOOTP for network booting of diskless machines.

Project description:
Openswan is an implementation of IPsec for the Linux operating system.
Is it a code fork of the FreeS/WAN project which has been terminated.
It provides IPSEC (IP Security, which is both encryption and
authentication) kernel extensions and an IKE (Internet Key Exchange,
keying and encrypted routing daemon), as well as various rc scripts
and documentation. It is known to interoperate with other IPSEC and
IKE systems already deployed by other vendors such as OpenBSD, Cisco,
and CheckPoint. It features Opportunistic Encryption, subnet
extrusion, X.509 certificates, NAT Traversal support, XAUTH, and
DNSSEC support.

dar is a shell command that makes backup of a directory tree and
files. Its features include splitting archives over several files,
CDs, ZIPs, or floppies, compression, full or differential backups,
proper saving and restoration of hard links and extended attributes,
remote backup using pipes and external command (such as ssh), and
rearrangement of the "slices" of an existing archive. It can now run
commands between slices, scramble archives, and retrieve individual
files from differential and full backups.

Nail is a mail user agent derived from Berkeley Mail 8.1. It is
intended to provide the functionality of the POSIX mailx command with
built-in support for MIME messages, IMAP (including caching and
disconnected operations), POP3, and SMTP. Nail offers its full
command set both for interactive and batch use, and is especially
useful for sending attachments from scripts or for reading mail via
slow connections and on bad terminals. In recent system environments,
nail is Unicode/UTF-8 capable.

Distributed Checksum Clearinghouse (DCC) is a system of clients and
servers that collect and count checksums related to mail messages.
The counts can be used by SMTP servers and mail user agents to detect
and reject bulk mail. DCC servers can exchange common checksums. The

lftp is a sophisticated command line based file transfer program.
Supported protocols include FTP, HTTP, SFTP, and FISH. It has a
multithreaded design allowing you to issue and execute multiple
commands simultaneously or in the background. It also features
mirroring capabilities and will reconnect and continue transfers in
the event of a disconnection. Also, if you quit the program while
transfers are still in progress, it will switch to nohup mode and
finish the transfers in the background. Additional protocols
supported: FTP over HTTP proxy, HTTPS and FTP over SSL. There are
lots of tunable parameters, including rate limitation, number of
connections limitation and more.

L7-filter is a Netfilter match module which classifies packets based
on application layer (OSI layer 7) data. This means that it is able
to classify packets as HTTP, FTP, Gnucleus, Kazaa, etc., regardless
of ports. It complements existing matches that classify based on port
numbers, packet length, TOS bits, and so on. Combined with Linux QoS,
it allows for full layer 7 packet shaping.

Project description:
Dnsmasq is a lightweight, easy to configure DNS forwarder and DHCP
server. It is designed to provide DNS and (optionally) DHCP to a
small network. It can serve the names of local machines which are not
in the global DNS. The DHCP server integrates with the DNS server and
allows machines with DHCP-allocated addresses to appear in the DNS
with names configured either in each host or in a central
configuration file. Dnsmasq supports static and dynamic DHCP leases
and BOOTP for network booting of diskless machines.

cdrtools (formerly cdrecord) creates home-burned CDs with a CDR/CDRW
recorder. It works as a burn engine for several applications. It
supports CD recorders from many different vendors; all SCSI-3/mmc-
and ATAPI/mmc-compliant drives should also work. Supported features
include IDE/ATAPI, parallel port, and SCSI drives, audio CDs, data
CDs, and mixed CDs, full multi-session support, CDRWs (rewritable),
