if you type: if \(\!is\_numeri and then to complete press ctrl+space \(cursor is after i\) select is\_numeric and press enter. After pressing enter "\!" is gone so the line looks: if \(is\_numeric which is kind of serious if you don't notice that you wanted exactly opposite
