Snooze like bedroom alarm clock

I'd like to use DiddleBug to wake me up from sleep.

In order of priority, I'd like to see the following enhancements to make this use case more practical:

1) Set Snooze time when setting up alarm.

2) Allow the user to specify that the alarm rings forever until the user acknowledges (Play # times = forever). This should be a per alarm setting if possible.

3) Allow infinite reminders (Remind Me = forever). This should be a per alarm setting if possible.

4) If the alarm ring expires before the user acknowledges the alarm, then automatically start the next snooze cycle (if snooze is on for that alarm). Make sure the alarm rings fully at the next alarm ring - currently it does a very short ring and is silent after that (Palm Centro - Garnet v5.4.9).

5) Allow the alarm to be dismissed OR snoozed when tapping screen. It would be best to make this a setting per alarm rather than global, but global would be acceptable if it's too hard to make it per alarm.

6) Continue making 2 taps necessary to dismiss an alarm that doesn't have a snooze set. If the alarm does have a snooze set, then allow then start the next snooze cycle when the user taps 1 time. Reason: 2 taps are not as good for snooze since a sleepy user may accidently only tap once. Alternative approach (more complex): Two taps to snooze, but let the snooze start if the user doesn't work with the device (keyboard or touchscreen) within 30 seconds of the first tap. Remember, there's no harm in automatically starting the snooze, but there is harm if the snooze is never started (oversleep).

7) Continue allowing the user to change the snooze time, but remember it for future snooze triggers for the current alarm sequence (repeating alarms should still use the snooze time the user entered in the alarm setup).

Treo 650 - Vibrate

Treo 650 supports vibrate mode, but latest version of
DiddleBug (2.90.b4) does not recognize this.

I love your program, it is a must for me, I've received
recently a Kyocera 7135 (PalmOS 4.1 modified by
Kyocera) Telephone (as a gift from a very very good
friend). It has Led and Vibrator functions but they
doesn't work with diddlebug. It also supports MP3
ringtones (mp3 files with headers modified with an
utility by Kyocera), these functions shows as not
available in DiddleBug Alarm Preferences.

Anyway, I've found that the program Toast Timer 0.7.6 (
http://toast-timer.sourceforge.net/ another GPLed
multi-stopwatch) let select in the alarm combo an
option entitled System, that calls for the default
system sound and also calls for the vibrator when
telephone is silenced. There is a little trick recently
discovered by me (I've tortured google looking for that
with no results) that allows assign an MP3 to the
default system sound creating an MP3 file called
KWC_sndAlarm.pdb of type syst and resetting the phone
twice.

Examining the toast-timer source code I've found that
adding an option entitled System or whatever you want
to the list of Midis that calls to the function
SndPlaySystemSound(sndAlarm) will allow the phone to
play an MP3 for the alarm and vibrate when in silent
mode, or at least I think so.

Unlimited Canvas Scrolling

Please rename dialog box

No biggie - Each "confirmation" dialogs are labeled too
long: such as "Delete Reminder Confirmation" where part
of the words get cut off in the screen.

Please rename any 'confirmation" dialogs with
simple "Delete" or "Clear Screen", etc.

No support for vibrating alert on Treo 180

I have a Treo 180 (which has vibrating alert hardware)
but DiddleBug just says `Vibrate: not supported' in the
preferences. It would be nice if this worked.

Ability to snooze on several alarms at once

I often end up with three or fours alarms all `displayed'
at the same time (e.g. if they all pop up at slightly
different times during the night, they are all pending
when I first turn my Treo on in the morning). It can be
really frustrating to have to go through them all one-by-
one and snooze an appropriate amount, especially if I'm
in a rush to do something else (particularly since I can't
switch away to another application with an alarm on the
display). It would be nice if there was an 'I'm in a hurry,
snooze on all pending alarms for five minutes'
icon/button I could use to dismiss the alarms rapidly.

Euclidean Geometry

Well, I've posted it on the forum, but just now I noticed this specific place for feature requests. So I've pasted the other post below, maybe this place is more visited... :D

I think that Diddlebug deserves only one more feature: the ability to handle euclidean geometry. I don't want it to be a Cabri or a GSP, but anyway, right now it doesn't let me make a circle if the circle won't stay completely onscreen, and that's not good at all. And I think that a special ink type for marking points would be very nice.

I really hope the developers think about my suggestion.

ruled paper

As one who uses DiddleBug primarily for quick notes, it
would be very useful if there was an option to fill the
page with a series of lines, across the full screen, about
1/4", apart to approximate ruled paper. Once there, the
lines don't have to have any special properties, I just
want it as a drawing object.
