<p>in a manual (xml-format) that I converted<br />
to texinfo using docbook2texi<br />
I stumbled across an inline<br />
code-Tag used in this document.<br />
For my use I added</p>

<xsl:template match="code"><br />
<xsl:call-template name="inline-markup-code"/><br />
</xsl:template><br />
-----------</p>
<p>to verbatim.xsl in the xslt/texi directory.<br />
I don't know if this addition is generally<br />
helpful. Maybe it's better located in inline.xsl.<br />
Just wanted to share this one.</p>
