\- All text modes supported by VESA BIOS.
\- All graphics modes supported by VGA/VESA BIOS, especially 8-bit or higher colour graphics modes. This is important since many late model video cards do not have VESA text modes, or most of the high resolution 4-bit graphics modes. For 8-bit or higher colour graphics modes, the extra colours should be made accessible for without limited to 16-colour palettes.
\- Automatic 'screen' resizing when running under DOS box, including Windows 9x DOS boxes, Windows NT-based command consoles, 4NT/Take Command/TCI windows, etc. The application window resizing is done immediately after detecting screen size changes.
