mailing list.  The problem I'm having is that the &lt;br /&gt;
socket doesn't actually "close" until the application &lt;br /&gt;
exits.  I've checked the SMTP server and it is closing &lt;br /&gt;
the connections properly.  Am I missing something in &lt;br /&gt;
the sending process that closes the connection to the &lt;br /&gt;
