Fwiw, if one were to update the code today, it should say Oracle instead (which makes handling the apostrophe easier...) as they bought Sun in 2010 (the code in this project appears to be from 2008 which predates the announcement/purchase).

Tutorial is out of date (mode and action options missing)

doubletype starts up fine but when I follow the tutorial instructions, the mode and action options are missing from the "LATIN_CAPITAL_LETTER_T" glyph form. There's just empty space at the top and right.

This is with WinXP and Java 1.6.0_07-b06.

Please give the application a useful icon and inlude a shortcut with the application with the icon assigned so that it will be immediately obvious to the user how to run it.

File dialogs aren't correctly styled and lack functionality

Non-existent folder causes repeated error on new typeface

At when to Create New typeface,
To specify (as the place to create) an unexisting dir
name is seemed to occur unbreakable error loop that
appearance of dialogs lasts (maybe forever).
Are there some wrong exception-handling?
OS:win2k; JRE: 1.4.2_01(?)

Because the Japanese site does NOT accept submission, I

Hints Missing in Release Build

Hello,

I have created a font and added a lot of hints to make
it look better in the smaller sizes, and it looks good
when I build a test true type font. But when I build
the release version, all the hintings disappear, and
the small sized letters look as ugly as before.
Are there any suggestions what I may be doing wrong?

Out of Range Error with Hints

Hello,

when I apply a hint to a curve point it often happens
that the resulting curve does not look as if it
belonged to the supporting points, it rather looks as
if one of the supporting points was far outside the
window (but the effect can also be so small that I do
not remark it on first sight).
When I move the hint I can usually find a place where
the curves look normal and still include the center
points of the pixel squares.
When I try to build the true type font without having
found all the "small effect" cases, I get a "Java out
of range error". Then I have to remove hint by hint
until the compilation of the font is possible again.

Does anybody know a better solution?

Wrong width for some glyphs

I have build a font that seems to work fine in wordpad
but not in Word. In Word the widths are incorrect for
the glyphs that I have made the width wider than normal
(like the m and n letters). Attached is the source for
the font that I am talking about.

Maybe there is some setting that I need to change to
fix this?
