when the program finishes and pops up the dialog to tell you the dvd encoding is finsihed, it would be great if there was some logic to report the success or failure of the encoding.

At least to a certain extent (like checking if an avi/ogg file is created)

In the configure menu (which is not yet implemented) there should be a way to apply preset preferences so you don't have to open every title of a TV Show.

Also maybe create a way of getting these preferences from an existing file (ie. set the prefs how you want on the first title and encode it to test. If it's good use these settings for all the remaining titles in the TV Series)

These buttons are currently 'not yet implemented' This needs to be taken care of... yesterday

The program should check to see if the output file was created, and that it was of an appropriate size (which must be determined programmically based on bitrate and title length)

This information can be used to determine the success of an encoding attempt
