WicketBench plugin request in Server Java Distribution

Please add the WicketBench plugin in the Server Java distro. This is a simple yet very handy plugin when developing a web application with the Wicket framework. Wicket can be seen as a very good alternative to web frameworks like JSF, Spring MVC and Struts. Therefore WicketBench would enhance EasyEclipse Server Java considerably.

New Release of PHP Eclipse

The environment of PHP Eclipse (PDT), that currently has been released, has become al lot better.

Now would be the time to create a new Release of EasyEclipse for PHP Eclipse.

I would thank you on my knees for that.
Because currently I am trying to get the new PDT working.
But all the time a seem to have trouble with getting the correct versions of all the software parts of Eclipse.

Making Docbook documentation with EasyEclipse

It would be nice to provide a ready-to-use Docbook IDE based on Eclipse. You just have to add the two plugins :

- Eclipse Web Tools Platform (WTP)
- Orangevolt XSLT 1.0.4

I would like to see a version of easy eclipse that would include the Google Web Toolkit as well as plugins to handle it like http://www.cypal.in/studio.

Hi,

The EasyEclipse could come with predefined set of Eclipse Update site URLs. This would go along the goal to eliminate the download hell.

Example:

1) One install EasyEclipse Python

2) It does not contain *any* update URLs in Software update menu

3) Google Subclipse

4) ...

this could be

1) One installs EasyEclipse Python

2) One goes to Help -> Software Update -> Checks "Subclipse"

3) Done

Since Update site URLs don't add anything to download size you could include update URLs for *all* plug-ins and thus enable single click installation of everything, still keeping download sizes small.

Virtual space (cursor-to-text constrain)

It would be great if the possibility to (in terminology of Microsoft Visual Studio) 'enable virtual space' is added to Eclipse IDE. (In TextPad the inverse of this feature is called 'Constrain the cursor to text')

That means that I would like the cursor to not be constrained to text and the desired behaviour is as follows:

- pressing 'left' moves cursor to the left. If the cursor is in the beggining of a line - do nothing

- pressing 'right' moves cursor to the right regardless of length of current string

- pressing 'up' moves cursor one line up regardless of length of current string and string above. If the cursor is on the first line - do nothing

- pressing 'down' moves cursor one line down regardless of length of current string and string below. If the cursor is on the last line - do nothing

The behaviour of home/end/pgup/pgdown doesn't need to be changed.

Installer for OSX installed into /Applications

This is not good as eclipse can't update plugins there if it has to ask permissions.

Would be nice to be able to choose where to install it.
