It is called &lt;code&gt;omitIgnoredModules&lt;/code&gt;. It has been in checkstyle already for atleast 2 years.&lt;br/&gt;

&lt;p&gt;We are in the process of adding this option to our CLI (https://github.com/checkstyle/checkstyle/issues/3566) and would like to see eclipse-cs support this feature so users can customize it.&lt;/p&gt;
