i had a problem that a .properties file couldn't be read from eclipse. the problem was that there was a uncomplete unicode in this file. (in my case it was "verf/u00Fgbar" instead of "verf/u00FCgbar") the editor just didn't show the character. it would be nice if this could be recognized and shown as an error

When the user types in the properties file a key and this key already exists than a warning or error should signal the user that this key already exists in this file.

Support of android languange resource files

Hi,
we use the ResourceBundle Editor to edit the properties for our middle ware which is based on spring.

Also we build Android Apps which communicate with the middle ware (Json call's).
70% of our string we display on our Android App come from the middle ware the rest is build native in to the Android App.

Now it would be great if the resource bundle editor would be able to save the resource files to Android string.xml resource files. (which are use UTF-8 encoding).

Though I believe your're looking for the update site of Resource Bundle editor - no idea about that...

Sorry, my previous comment was manifestly wrong: the update site mentioned above was an example about configuring an eclipse plugin update site using sf.

So is there any enhancement on this feature?

It seems that now http://eclipse-cs.sourceforge.net doesn't host the update site anymore.
Now, I've seen there's an update site at
https://sourceforge.net/projects/eclipse-cs/files/updatesite/5.6.1/
but it only lists the following contents:
Eclipse Checkstyle Plug-in 5.6.1.201306282206

Any idea? Please note having an update site would be really handy.

Support for .propertie without locale

Hi *,

if it is possible, we need the Support for the default (without localisation) .propertie because this will be used if a translation is not available.

In Moment we copy the content of the _en.propertie files into .propertie file. In Future ResourceBundle Editor should directly open / edit the default property File.
