Install failed after uninstall

WindowsXP SP3

I installed 3.1 over 3.2, an older version without uninstalling the newer first. I have not tried to reproduce the problem, it works now and I like the programme ;)

If I remembered correctly, this was the case. I have the 3.2 installer running now (over a working v3.2), the error message may be the same, but I believe that it stopped at the same position (actually I'm pretty sure it was at emfprinter_inst.exe. Details are at the bottom.

Perhaps a solution is to clean the install traces if uninstall is not possible, I couldn't identify the culprit that caused the installing of the printer to fail.
