Normally you create BIG TC volumes to avoid "disk full" errors.&lt;br /&gt;
But if the host partition gets filled OR you want to backup the volume (TC file), shrinking would be VERY handy.&lt;br /&gt;
Especially before backups since b/c of the encryption you cannot compress the file for transfer.&lt;br /&gt;
