I use img alt="", to indicate to screen readers that I have thought about accessibility, and determined that this image is visual only (e.g. ignorable by screen readers). Could fang adopt this rule to lower clutter?

After the beginning "Page has x headings and y links", it says the document title and then "dash Internet Explorer". Tested on remote and local file with Firefox 2.0.0.4 and Fangs 1.0.3

No output produced with the fangs renderer.

Found an article for previous version with firefox 1.5 requiring you to add:
extensions.fangs.output.defaultlang = en
extensions.fangs.output.style = default (or sectioned)

To get it to work. Should this not be setup by default?

Fangs Output Tab displays no content when set to Default opt

The Output Tab displays no output when the options are set to "Default (block of text)", but does when options are set to "Sectioned (new section before headers)". It doesn't seem consistent - sometimes changing the setting makes it work, sometimes it doesn't.

Using Firefox 1.5.0.7 for Linux.

Password fields aren't rendered

Password fields aren't rendered. This example:

renders as "Name colon Edit Password colon Go button".
I tried a couple of real-world examples (eg. Yahoo
Mail's login form) and they had the same problem.

I'm using Fangs 1.0.0 with Firefox 1.5.0.4 on Windows
XP SP2.

This is with Firefox 1.0.6 on Mac OS X 10.4.2

When you copy the output of fangs into any other app
(such as textedit, so you can hear it being read by the
computer), it has a LOT of run-together words.

Here is just a snippet example:

Heading Titles not Read

JAWS reads titles (title ="xxx") within heading tags
(h1, etc), but FANGS does not. Putting titles in
heading tags can facilitate skimming through a site,
for example, by indicating the beginning of types of
content (such as "Navigation begins"), while not adding
invisible text.
