Missing translation destinations should not call 'die'

If a translation does not exist for a message, FOM
should be able to use the default text. This makes for
convenient introduction of translation as necessary.
For instance, if only some of the messages needed to be
translated (perhaps to something more friendly to the
specific application of FOM), then the un-translated
messages would print the default text. If necessary,
this can be a configurable option.

Configurable Interfaces

The current faq-o-matic interface, tho' pretty, leaves
much to be desired in the way of customization. The
look and feel of a specific site cannot be accommodated
with the icons, colors and layout that are currently
used by FOM.
There needs to be a configurable way of setting all
this up, perhaps even via a template. The hardcoding of
icons, etc. is not a problem, but an alternative
definition should be supported, if a user wishes to use it.

Untranslated HTML options to be refined

When inserting HTML into an Answer and then later searching for a keyword in that Answer the HTML
shows in the results set of the search. I think the HTML should be hidden.

Ability to create answers that are links

Great tool.

I would like some answers to appear in more than
one category.

I have been creating an answer in the secondary
location and making its text a <faqomatic> back
to the primary answer.

However I wonder would is be possible to have a
class of answer that is actually a link to another
answer so that I can avoid this "placeholder"
answer.

This would mean I would not have to maintain two
answers.

Email notification of new FAQ

I would like to associate an email address (or list) with
a category.

Any new FAQ in a sub category would trigger an email
notification fothe new FAQ.

Different categories might have different notification
lists.

Export to DocBook XML

The DocBook XML DTD provides a "Question and Answer Set"
(quandaset) hierarchy that can be used to capture the
content and logical structure of a FAQ (see below).

Adding an "Export to DocBook XML" enhancement to the
FAQ-O-Matic would enable a snapshot of a FAQ to be
generated in a presentation-neutral form. That content
could then be re-used/included in the source for other
documents, transformed into other delivery formats (PDF,
man pages, Microsoft HTML Help), etc.

Use Apache authentication

Apache allows to provide a 'password file' with the key
AuthUserFile <filename>

in a .htaccess file to protect the access on this directory.

FAQ-O-MATIC should allow to use this file instead of its own one. This allows to keep the
authentications in several web applications synchronized.

Ability to set font style and size

It would be cool to have the ability to change the font size and style from customizable menus.
I've done this already by reducing the font size of the persons email addresses in the perl
scripts but this is something that would be useful to be able to set through menus and not
require editing perl scripts.
