#6 Configure file is missing while i manully download the tbz file

Hi mam,

There is an updation in my query. Now i am facing issue in the running the "./configure " command after extracting the ffmpeg-php tar file

I have copied all the library files from my system library directory to the ffmpeg folder

But still it is showing that it cant find the libavcodec.so library files of ffmpeg.

Could you please assist me as soon as possible.

Hi mam,

Could you please let me know the manual installation of ffmpeg-php extension in ubuntu 20.04

When i click the download https://sourceforge.net/projects/ffmpeg-php/files/latest/download to download the file, it is not downloading the exact file

Again i tried to take the url by manually copying the link https://sourceforge.net/projects/ffmpeg-php/files/ffmpeg-php/0.5.3.1/ and then copied the file name like

https://sourceforge.net/projects/ffmpeg-php/files/ffmpeg-php/0.5.3.1/ffmpeg-php-0.5.3.1.tbz2

It is downloading the file, but after downloading, some important files are missing in the extracted directory

Here where is the configure file to install the ./configure command

From other source directory, it got extracted directory with configure file , when i ran configure , it is showing the headers are not included

The other source which i got , Its URL is missing , so i dont have exact proof to give you the header error

Kindly give me the exact steps to download and install the ffmpeg-php module so that it is visible in the phpinfo page. My server have ffmpeg application seperately, but dont have the php extension

ALso i would like to know whether there is any possibilty to enable exec for ffmpeg only other than allowing the "exec" in disable_functions in php.ini which is security voilation

Please reply as soon as possible
