It seems a good tool to my. But looking at the forums
here and found all the question haven't been answered.
Some are even over a month's old. So I don't dare to
try it....

How do you use it as a desktop?

I downloaded/compiled/installed the fox library and all
programs you have on your download page. I can run the
explorer, editor, calculator, man page viewer on their
own in kde2.1.1 but how do I use it as a replacement
for kde, gnome, etc?

I couldn't find anything in the documentation or on
your website which covers this point.

Other than this, it looks pretty good.

One thing I did notice is that you sometimes switch the
positions of OK and Cancel and you tend to put Cancel
first which is not standard in windows or kde, gnome,
etc. How hard would it be to fix that? If it's a
simple change of display order, I might be able to dig
through the code and make the changes. If so, I'll
send you a patch. Any pointers on how to do it would
be appreciated.

libfoXdesktop/make causes fox conflicts

I am trying to build foxCommander but I have been
struggling with the dependancies.

libfoXdesktop-0.2.4]# ./configure works fine.

libfoXdesktop-0.2.4]# make returns with a list of
errors similar to the following:

I installed the following RPMS for the foxlib

libfox164-0.99.164-2mdk.i586.rpm
libfox164-devel-0.99.164-2mdk.i586.rpm

Any idea what my problem is?
