I recently got an msp430-jtag-iso, and now im trying to use it under arch linux using FMD. After some struggle (configure wouldn't recognize the version 0.18 of libftdi), I managed to build both libfmdll and fmd-gdbproxy. However, when I connect my device, MSP430F5437, and run fmd-gdbproxy, the output is:

debug:     msp430: msp430_open()
error: msp430: MSP430 debugger initialization failed
error:     msp430: error (0) : (null)

I figured MSP430F5437 is not too different from MSP430F5435, and just copied the entry for MSP430F5435 checking the memory locations. But as far as I figured, the program didn't get that far, and ran into problems in olimex_initialize function. I have no idea how to go further though.
Got any ideas?

Thanks in advance, nice project.
