ipv6 - Prefix length: Illegal netmask 128

Hi,
I want to add an ipv6 loopback-net object (inet6 ::1/128 scope host), counterpart to ipv4 standard object "loopback-net".
If I use a prefix length of "128", I get an error: Illegal netmask. Is this a bug or an intended behavior?
If I create an ipv6 Host with the same bit length, it works.
