Hello.

I installed from the gabeeOSLinux-i3-gaps-live-x86_64-6.12.58_1-20251120.iso using gabeeos-installer.

It appears that /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc does not parse the $HOME/.Xresources and $HOME/.xinitrc files:

Your suggestion does not work:

To configure screen, keyboard and wallpaper, I use the .xinitrc file found in the user's home.

Thanks for letting me know about the keyboard settings. To configure screen, keyboard and wallpaper, I use the .xinitrc file found in the user's home page. My mistake was not deleting my keyboard settings, but you can edit said file by entering your personal settings.
As for the keybindings, it is actually in both Spanish and English. Maybe I should have used other names in the columns. For the next version I will replace "Description" with "Spanish" and "Command" with "English". In any case, if you want to remove Spanish you will have to edit the KeyHints file located in /opt. This is a simple yad script.

hello,
I just installed the latest iso and during installation I chose keyboard as us but on installed system it is still set on spanish plus the keybindings table also shows spanish , how to fix and set both these two to english please

Hello Zenobit, this message is simply to notify you that gabeeOSLinux currently only has two flavors: Qtile and Openbox. My idea, if time allows, is to upload versions with different WM.

First of all I hope you excuse me for the delay in answering your message. Due to work reasons I was not able to spend time on the original gabeeOS project with Gnome and Budgie, so now I have decided to focus on a single flavor of gabeeOS for now. This is gabeeOS Qtile.
