How am I supposed to add
photos from iPhoto? Navigate through my iPhoto library? Try that some
time, it's loads of fun. How about drag and drop names for father and
mother? Or since it forces you to have the correct name, why not auto-
complete when typing a father or a mother?

Other calendars

Would it be possible to replace the normal calandar with a different
one? In my case, specifically the Theyalan calendar used in a
fantasy world called Glorantha - http://www.glorantha.com/library/
View. If I were to start at one ancestor and see who the children,
grandchildren, etc. have been, then I could better see relationships.

Of course, I can get something similar from Genealogy Pro's chart,
but your Pedigree View is quicker to load and more interactive, so a
similar feature in the other direction for Descendants would be
appreciated very much.

I've just started using your program and am impressed with it. I'll
look forward to future updates to see what you might add.

Export to HTML

Export HTML File Browse window should include 'New Folder" button
Thanks it's a great program

But why don't you have the LDS ordinances in the add ind info menu.
It would be easier.
And very helpfull if these informations can be imported (and then
exported) from a gedcom file made with PAF or Reunion

Thanks

Export birth dates in HTML

It would be nice to have the birth/death dates for individuals
in the index pages, to help distinguish between those
individuals having the same names.
Since the index appears to be sorted on record id, where
several individuals have the same name it's not obvious which
one to look at. For example, in my database I have six people
called John Pritt; the index is sorted thus:
John Pritt (me), born 1953
John Pritt, born 1868
John Pritt, born 1812
John Pritt, born 1879
John Pritt, born 1839
John Pritt, born 1878.

Export only changed data (HTML)

I suspect this is asking for too much functionality, but here
goes...
Would it be possible to export only those records that have
changed since the last export? I am thinking mainly of HTML
pages: I have my own website incorporating the HTML pages
exported by GenX, and it's a bit of a pain having to upload all
of the pages when only, say, 3 or 4 have changed.
If GenX could only export the changed ones, it would save me
a lot of time.
I readily admit I'm being lazy: I suppose I could develop
something that would compare and identify changed pages
outside of GenX...

Status reporting

Status reporting

Check for new versions at launch

Check for new versions at launch
