A Menu Plugin!!

Geoshell "core" menus are very customizable but can't beat others like Vista Start Menu, I've been thinking on a better menu system.

In fact, they will be "forms" that will host "parts" on "spliters", these menus will have alpha blending support.

When I said "parts", I meant that I will be able to put there (eg.) a top image (displaying user information, the picture, etc) then at left side, the common start menu, at right side most used shortcuts, and finally a searchbar (geOCommandTime?? Yes!! will host bar plugins too!!!)... and finally I got a little and a lot more cute version of Vista Menu.

Every menu will be accessed by shortcuts, or buttons on bars (EButton??)

I'd like to request an option to set the width of the
task menu.

geoCommandTime - Shift time through command line

Simply put, have a feature inside the plugin that can
shift the time display through a entry command line.

ex(?)

shifttime -800
shifttime d/default
shifttime PST

After entered it would shift the time when returned to
default time view state. (Maybe have a timer set so
after a certain duration it would return back to the
default time)

Hi I am a new user to this great tools.

Version: GeoShell R4.11.10

I found some bugs in terms of usability

I love this inventions and think that it is really a
great idea.
I am not a developer, well, I hope to be anyway. But I
find that the program is a little bit
programming-oriented and the interface is not yet
user-friendly implemented.

Here is some of my first time using experience which I
hope that it can be as a contribution and
help improve the software in future updates. If I have
submitted duplicated suggestions, please forgive me. :)

0. The bar status doesn't automatically update nor can
be manually updated after the registry value is changed.
It is a little bit difficult to tweak.

a.Can be visaully tweaked from the GeoConfig
b.able to take effect immediately if possible

1. The default thickness of GeoBar is too thin, it is
"2" by default and seems to be invisible and cannot
find it if
I use "Edge Hide". When I change the registry, have
to logoff and back to take effect.

2. Each time I change registry value, it doesn't take
effect immediately

3. For the GeoMenuLaunch, I have accidentally unload it
at first and then when I load again, it is a
completely new and nothing inside, it might be
difficult for first time user.
I solve the problem like this:
1. I restore the part of GeoMenuLaunch by modifying
your Clean_install.reg
2. I use windows shortcut Win-R and then logoff to logff
3. Login again to take effect

4. The Shortcut to the Docs is unworkable because the
link has been modified.

a. Please update the included the link.
b. An offline version is highly recommended for people
who do not know much in short-cut, it is better to have
an offline version and can be recalled by pressing F1
in default.

Any comment and suggestion are welcomed.

GeoCommandTime doesn't report size properly

When GeoCommandTime is set to only display the clock
(Command functions disabled), and the width is set to
"0" for auto-resizing, the plugin does not seem to
report a changed width properly when going from a
4-digit time (such as 12:29) to a 3-digit time (such as
9:29). This bug only seems to occur when there is an
instance of GeoSpacer in the same bar using a set bar
width.

Basically, a 1024 px bar will end up less than 1024 px
when the clock changes from 12:59 to 1:00. Once
something is done to adjust the bar width (e.g. opening
hidden tray icons) or the shell is recycled, all
returns to normal.

Setting the clock to a fixed width does work around
this bug.

GeoSpacer clicks should be like GeoSep

GeoSpacer ought to support bar-click functions like
GeoSep does, so you could drag by it, and right-click
to get the bar menu ...

As an aside: how about the 'empty' part of a geoTasks
plugin, too.

NEW LOOK 2: Active Task CONTROLS

A plugin which can display a button for one (or more)
of the following tasks (to be performed on the active
application):

Close, Minimize, Maximize, Restore, System Menu (with
active-app's icon?)

The code for all of these things is currently in the
Tasks plugins, so none of this should be very hard. The
key is to be able to put the plugin on the lefts end of
the bar with the system menu button visible, and on the
bar at the far right with the min/max|restore and close
buttons, so we can completely cover up the caption-bar
of a maximized application!

NEW LOOK 1: Active Task plugin

A simple plugin to display the caption of the active
task, and on-click, display the Tasks menu. All it
needs is the active app changed notification from the
ShellHook, and a button to call the Tasks menu with.

"Full Screen Action" default to OFF

Until the full-screen action more closely emulates what
explorer's task bar does, this should never be on for
new users unless they set it that way themselves.

This is causing tech-support calls from people who
think their bars are gone, or think their bars have a
mind of their own, because the full-screen action gets
triggered by such things as IM apps, and applications
on secondary monitors (or which over-lap part-way onto
a second monitor).

Genesis asked for this, among others.

We actually pull up the windows RUN dialog history, but
we don't ADD things to it, and that needs fixing.
