Like the cygwin installer does.
Will save a lot of time and disk space.
I know this will need a GUI version.
What about adopting the CygWin installer?

After installing GetGnuWin32-0.6.19.exe, it silently quits and nothing happens. I have to browse into the installation directory and read the .bat files. Therefore, I suggest adding a "Start downloading immediately" option to the installation completed window, or providing simple instructions on how to really start getting GnuWin32. Install.txt does not contain information on how to start downloading, and neither the GnuWin32 nor GetGnuWin32 web pages contain any information on how to start getting things.

download.bat not able to extract filelist and packages from normal.html as format has changed.

Please simplify the GNUwin32 installation since you cannot do a 'install all packages I've downloaded'

This dos batch file will run a command line silent installatio for all Gnuwin32 exe files without prompting you to hit yes or next on all of the installer dialogs.

Would it be possible to add an install path as a parameter to the install.bat script?

I've installed GetGnuWin32 into C:\Program Files\GetGnuWin32 and then I end up having the files in C:\Program Files\GetGnuWin32\GnuWin32\

What I want is to run
install.bat "C:\Program Files\GnuWin32"
and end up in having the files in this folder instead.

I know you can just copy (or move) the files but this way it would be easier.

It would be nice to get the installation in a zip file
instead of a self extracting archiving.
