drawing a line with the mouse in the corresponding direction, and
then specify it as a map. Droping an element at the bottom of the
arrow should serve as application of the map (the element gently
sliding along the arrow).

Extended Drag & Drop

Once computed the fundamental units, those cannot be pulled in the
"field inspector". Nor can representatives of classes in the class
group.

It would be nice to move elements from one field inspector to the
other (of course only where possible). The same feature could also
be made availible for ideals; not quite the same actually, but natural.

Of course dropping some elements of the desktop should made
GiANT displaying the field they create.

tab completion in kash-window

As a matter of convenience, tab completion should be working in the
kash window displayed in GiANT.

KASH -> GiANT

As one can also use the KASH session in the KASH
terminal window it would be nice if one could tell
GiANT to dispaly a field which one has created in the
shell.

Isomorphic fields

GiANT should notice when tow isomorphi fields are on
the desktop. This could be either done by displaying
them accordingly (maybe by showing a horizontal cahin
of field balls) or by referring to the field already
displayed.

Dropping polynomials on the desktop

It would be nice if one could generate new extension by
dropping any polynomial on the desktop to generate a
the desktop would (indirectly) yield the functionality
asked for in 'Dropping elements on the desktop'.

Subfields

It would be nice to be able to generate all subfields
