Hi
I just tried out glabels for the first time in a few years, and it works very nicely - much improved from what I remember in the past.
The only think I cannot figure out how to do is handle dates flexibly - dates with offsets from today, and in different formats.
I am printing product labels, and need to put expiry dates and batch dates etc on the label, and also to include a date within a barcode.
I can obviously do this by generating a csv file with the data in it, and just treating it all as text, but that then just moves the problem of how to generate the date fields to somewhere else - I am trying to make this simple to use for non-technical users!
The ability to hook up to a sql database would be fantastic too!
I have a table with all the product data in it, and if I could use glabels to design the layout, and print using data from the database that would be fantastic!
Just a suggestion, but I am trying to buy something like that just now!!!
Thanks for the good work with gLabels anyway.
