changing settings disables pop

Posted this in the forum after which I realized that
the bugs section was a more appropriate place...

I am a frequent user of gmail-mobile and currently use
the CVS version checked out yesterday (19-09-05,
preview 17).
I discovered that if you make changes in settings >
general (page-size and stuff) from gmail-mobile you
automatically disable the pop mail download setting,
which in my case was turned on.

Appearantly the pop setting, while not possible to
change from settings > general, is accidentally
disabled along with changes of other settings.

Nokia 3230.Two chars deleted 4 every single clear press.

In my nokia 3230, in any input box within Gmail Mobile,
two characters are getting deleted every time i press
the 'C' (Clear) button.. All other websites work just
fine. I dont know if its a bug in the system or my
mobile. But all other websites work fine. My
version(latest) of Gmail Mobile is installed on my own
server.

Error when reading message on Sony Ericsson 710a

I am able to log in and view my mailboxes, but whenever
I try to view the text of a message (I can see the titles
fine), I get an hourglass icon for about 5 seconds and
then an error that says "Something is wrong with the
page that you tried to access. Choose another link.". It
looks like my browser is trying to access something on
main.php at the time that the error occurs.

Alert error when reading message

I get an "Alert This page contains errors and connt be
displayed" any time I try to actually read a message. I
get this problem when i use my server, or gmail.hopto,
but gmail-lite works fine.

I'm using a Motorola MPx220, english language, gmail
language English (US), version 0.9 (Downloaded 07/25/2005).

I can display anything else in gmail, it is only when
reading a message (and it seems to be ANY message),
that I get the Alert error.

I also get the Alert error tying to choose the Continue
option after sending an email.

Can't open folders

Hi.. I get a "Signin failed. Please check your
login/password/cookie setting."-error when opening
Inbox or any of the other folders. The first login
works fine, and the number of unread messages is
displayed too.

Labels with spaces in them show no entries

Labels don't seem to work for me. None show any content
except for the first which shows the same entries as
the inbox.

dl() function not supported on multithreaded servers

The dl() function is not supported by servers
multithreaded processors. After clicking on "login",
the wap browser displayed "requested page cannot be
found". I scoured over the logs and discovered this
warning: "PHP Warning: dl(): Not supported in
multithreaded Web servers - use
extension=php_curl.dll". The workaround was pretty
easy, but I had to edit libgmailer.php and the php.ini
file. I commented out the if statements using the dl()
functions in libgmailer.php and added
extension=php_curl.dll to the php.ini. The app works
great now. If you need more detail, let me know.

contacts email addresses no longer display

When viewing the contacts, the email addresses no longer display.
This also occurs when choosing recipients from the compose
screen. this makes sending mail very inconvenient again.

The problem just started may 11/12.

When reading a folder, drops to login screen

I am using 0.4. I can login, and see my folders just
fine. I can see how many new messages I have.
However, when I try to go to any folder, it drops me
back to the login screen with the message ERROR:
Connection error.
The diagnose.php script gives the following results

Test 1 (curl extension): passed.

Test 2 (curl http): passed.

Test 3 (SSL via curl): passed.

Test 4 (PHP session extension): passed.

If you have passed all 4 tests, you should have no
problem installing and using Gmail Mobile and libgmailer.

Previous versions of gmobile worked fine with my server.

replying to msg creates new conversation

When replying to a message, the reply does not stay in the
original conversation. Instead, it becomes a new conversation.
(rebellious? sues its parent message for a divorce?!? Disowns its
family?!?)

This bug seems to have infested version 0.4 because replies
"seemed" to work correctly in version 0.3.
