Thanks for reporting this issue and sorry for the very late response.
Version 0.7.11 has fixed the issue and it can download subtitles again.
I hope it can be of use for any of your future big projects.

Thanks for reporting it. The error seems related to running the EXE file. Please try running the JAR file as per the documentation.
The EXE file has been removed on version 0.7.11.

Subtitles could not be found in input file

I downloaded google2srt last week. I have Windows 10 and was using google2srt 7.10. I like the url list feature and successfully downloaded over 9,000 transcripts as part of a big data project. (I expect the final total will be between 50K and 100K.) Suddenly I got a message "subtitles could not be found in input file" for any new file that I try to download. I am getting this from multiple urls on multiple channels and whether I use the Web or URL list.

I can still get transcripts reject by google2srt through DVDVideoSoft YouTube Subtitles Download tool, where I can load the whole group but I have to click each download. Also, my file merges in another program where I build the database are set up using the VideoID, which DVDVideoSoft does not give. However, the fact that I can download through DVDVideoSoft indicates that I have the urls correct.

Also ready tried reinstalling google2srt.

I'm afraid that's about all I can tell you.

BTW, I agree with the ticket on the JavaVM. I had to use the .jar file.

Chi, thanks for reporting this. Is this a private video? If so, I think the application does not work - no authentication is implemented.
