PC: Microsoft Windows 11 Home
Build: Version 10.0.26100 Build 26100
Microsoft Outlook Version 2503 Build 16.0.18623.20178) 64-bit

Updated to latest version v4.2.1. Since update, every sync indicates it is updating from Google to Outlook despite the Merge Prompt being selected and the specific entries indicated as being sync'd have not been changed/modified. Example (some information redacted):

2025-04-16 10:51:41 | Information | Updated contact from Google to Outlook: "xxx, xxx".
2025-04-16 10:51:43 | Information | Updated contact from Google to Outlook: "yyy, yyy".
2025-04-16 10:51:44 | Information | Updated contact from Google to Outlook: "zzz, zzz".
2025-04-16 10:51:54 | Information | Updated appointment from Google to Outlook: "aaaa Birthday - 2015-00-10 Recurrence".
2025-00-10 10:51:54 | Information | Updated appointment from Google to Outlook: "bbb Birthday - 2017-10-00 Recurrence".
2025-00-16 10:51:54 | Information | Updated appointment from Google to Outlook: "ccc Birthday - 2000-00-00 Recurrence".
.....
2025-04-16 10:52:10 | Information | Sync complete. Synced: 69 out of 1689. Deleted: 0. Skipped: 745. Errors: 0.

Every sync keeps indicating it's synced the same 69 files out of 1689.
Have tried revoking the authorization and creating a new one.
Have uninstalled Go Contact Sync Mod, installed previous version. Issue remains, same sync entries in log. Installed SetupGCSM-4.2.0, same issue. Updated to 4.2.1, issue persists.
Program was working properly prior to update to 4.2.1 showing only the few actual changes rather than the same list of 60+ Google to Outlook sync changes (even though there has been no change to the 60+ entries).

Is it possible Google changed things again on their end which is causing the sync to constantly update from Google to Outlook, and because of the change GCSM doesn't apply that change to the Outlook PST?

GCSM GUI settings attached.

My fix was going back to 4.1.33 on win10 outlook 2021.

Reference post (which I now see you have commented on and have seen)

Is there a fix for this issue other than rolling back to 4.1.33? Its very annoying to see the same bunch of contacts getting updated over and over...especially when you have several thousands of contacts.

None that I found, I just rolled back to 4.1.33, and then just ignore the new version nag notice every time I run the Googlesyncmod application and do a sync.

I think I found the reason after several internet searches and trying out: Obviously, the hash algorithm we are using to collapse the Google Account name into an Outlook Property name changed between the .NET Framework 4.7.2 (used in 4.1.x versions and earlier) and 4.8.1 (used in the newer versions). Unfortunately we needed to upgrade to 4.8.1 to be on the Microsoft supported Framework, but there seems to be no backward compliance with the hash algorithm.
Please test the version I released here and let me know, if it works https://sourceforge.net/projects/googlesyncmod/files/Releases/4.1.34%20-%20Branch%20for%20.NET4.7.2%20fixes/

Anyway, I would advice you to upgrade to latest .NET Framework to not oppose your system any security threads. To do so, you should install the latest version (4.2.x), then Reset matches first, before resync (maybe, if possible, delete all entries first on one side, Outlook or Google, and then reset, and then start the sync again to copy over a synched version to the other side again)
