the serial / parallel port, it's difficult to get&lt;br /&gt;
soundmodem working unless you're an experienced UNIX&lt;br /&gt;
person.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Suggest having an icon that can start the cw daemon if&lt;br /&gt;
the user wants to use it.  Otherwise try not to start&lt;br /&gt;
processes that grab resources without the user having&lt;br /&gt;
requested that process be started.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Just a suggestion.&lt;br /&gt;
