Can't find ImageMagick, no graphics commands

I installed html2latex from Sourceforge and ImageMagic
using Gerben Wierda's iInstaller. All the ImageMagick
commands seem to be in the correct place in the
/usr/local/bin directory, which is in my path. Yet when
I run html2latex, it seems to think they are not there
and no image references appear in the resulting latex
file. Actually, it is fine with me if the jpg's are not
converted, but I would think a graphics command to
incorporate the images would appear in the tex file.

When i'm installing Image::Magik from CPAN i didn't
found it i found Image::Magick instead

Wee ned cyrillics

How can one process pure cyrrillics?
Now there is no way.
HTML2LATEX just replaces native cyrillic letters by some (greek?) letters.
Need an option to leave cyrillics unconverted.

Failure to generate formated Latex

Hi
I compiled html2latex which worked fine. I ran html2latex that generated the following output:

\documentclass[10pt]{article}
\usepackage{fullpage, graphicx, url}
\setlength{\parskip}{1ex}
\setlength{\parindent}{0ex}
\title{my page}
\begin{document}

This is a test.

\end{document}

All you get is a skeleton of the latex document. The real code from your latex never gets included.

Any ideas?

\hline used outside a tabular - not allowed

It seems that html2latex translates <hr> to \hline. But some LaTeX installations choke on this. Apparently, \hline is for use only within the tabular environment.

describes the same problem as I had with the code that html2latex generated. The fix is to use

\rule{\linewidth}{1pt}

instead of \hline. I can confirm that this works.

"make test" fails

after "perl Makefile.PL" the "make test" fails:

t/foreigns..........ok
t/tags..............FAILED test 1

The file "t/tags.html" refers to "tags.gif" where it should be "tags.png".

problem with option "package"

Well, it won't work...

I guess GetOpts( ...
'package=s' => \@packages,
...)
is needed, though then it
prints "\usepackage{1}' when
html2latex -package=foo bar.html
instead of "\usepackage{foo}'

I am trying to find the bug.
