I've not seen this problem listed so here goes. This problem only occurs when "Auto completion" of addresses is activated in Preferences. Auto-completion looks at your Address Book and other emails in Mail to fill in addresses as you type them. (It also will look at any specified LDAP server.)

When entering addresses into "To", "CC", or "BCC" lines, auto-complete tries to finish your entry based on the first few letters you type. When I am sending from a 'standard' (non-Hotmail) account everything works ok. However, when sending from one of my Hotmail accounts the auto-complete function appears to be re-selecting the text as it is typed. This causes each character to overwrite the previous one or two characters. (If one types REALLY fast to enter enough characters so the entry is unique then auto-complete works.) But generally it keeps wiping out the address as it is typed.

It appears that the cursor focus is getting a spontaneous "select text" when it shouldn't. Any suggesions? Thanks!

turn off junk mail "filtering"?

In Mac OS X 10.3.9, using HTTP Mail plugin 1.46, I'm having messages redirected to a Junk Mail folder under the HTTP Mail account folder. How do I turn this off? I've had junk mail filtering turned off through the regular mail preferences for some time. I have tried deleting the junk mail folder there, and while this kept the folder hidden for several months, unknown to me, messages were still ending up in it.

At this time, I've allowed the folder to remain so I can atleast redirect messages that have gotten placed in this folder, but I'd like to turn this filtering feature off and get rid of this junk mail folder.

Using Panther 10.3.9- for some reason all my default mail app names inbox, outbox, etc. have changed their names to inbox_special mailbox_name. I have deleted the plugin but I can't change the names back. There has been no response from the developer to my e-mail.

Hotmail Mailbox Moves To Bottom of the list :(

My hotmail mailbox keeps moving to the bottom of my list of mailboxes and that is not where I want it to be. I can move it, but when I close the program and re-open it it moves back down to the bottom of my list :(

Can anyone help me resolve this problem, its frustrating... thnx, otherwise this program is great!

I have installed everything as directed. I have set up my hotmail.com account as shown and I get nothinga nd the account appears offline in my Mail application...can some one help me?

Hotmail Folders Not Showing Up

I have many folders in my Hotmail account and only the first four folders and their accompanying e-mails showed up. How come I can't get all of my Hotmail folders to show up? Is there a patch or something I can download?

problems with .mac sync

httpmail plugin has trouble with .mac sync. My Mail has been crashing
since I've started syncing to my .mac account while using the pluggin
(1.49version) and I finally deleted off my http acccounts, synced a bunch
and it hasn't crashed since. Leading me to believe it's a bug with the
plugin.

Sending Error : Impossible to send mail

When I send a mail using my msn account mail give me a
URL error and let me choose in my other smtp servers.

It just says services.msn.com unreachable.

I'm currently using mail live service...

Bth it's still a great plugin for every msn mail user ;)
