and I need to take my hands off the keyboard? How do I &lt;br /&gt;
continue the command?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Some ideas occur:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1. Provide a command which joins the current pre-selection &lt;br /&gt;
with the previous selection (forming a single, continuous &lt;br /&gt;
selection). Thus, if my LEAP gets interrupted I can simply &lt;br /&gt;
select the current result, finish the LEAP, and extend the &lt;br /&gt;
selection.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. Provide a keystroke to end command mode without &lt;br /&gt;
executing the command, but saving it for next time. The &lt;br /&gt;
same keystroke on a blank command line will pull up the last &lt;br /&gt;
saved command.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I can't find this in the manual; hopefully I'm simply missing &lt;br /&gt;
something.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Out of curiosity, have you guys studied vi and vim? There &lt;br /&gt;
are some obvious similarities.&lt;/p&gt;
