The import cancelled because an error occurred! Error: String index out of range: 1
Your project is now in an inconsistent or incomplete state.

The HyperImage platform supports the linking of (audio)-visual objects, texts and mixed-media documents."

I am currently developing an Active Directory user authentication procedure for the HyperImage Editor.
And have some questions regarding some steps.
_______________________________________________

Steps:
1. Generate a user with the Active Directory name with any password using the sysop client. (so that nothing will be changed to the luser concept)
2. in the authentication phase , either use the password in the postgres DB or get the password from the Active directory using JNDI
_______________________________________________

Problems
1. For test purposes, I have bypassed the authentication. But the Project is not directly allocated to the user if I use a different password, which I think is due to the HIWebServiceManager.login() function.
Is there any way to pass this authentication just by using the Active Directory authentication?

thanks in advance!

As per instructions in sourceforge, we have successfully set up a HIServer and a HIEditor on a glassfish test server. We have the information that the SHIysOp client, doesn't work with the sourceforge vesrion of the server (If I am right). We could also see this, when we wanted to test the SHIysOp client on a windows xp client with service pack2.

Is there any defalut password for the editor? Or is there any trick for adding the users without using the SHIysOp client because we are really interested in testing the server locally than connecting to berlin?

Thanks!
