I uploaded a first test version. Please extract the content into iCopy folder, and send a log file after using the ADF with Duplex (I added a check box in the main window)

first try. With adf selected i got a error at the end when it should be printing i guess. Without adf one side scan't.
Both times icopy uses the flatbed instead of ADF!
Brother support's duplex via adf, flatbed is single side (bit hard for the software or printer to flip the page, wondering why)

So the error happens with both duplex and single sided ADF? In this case this is a regression.

I uploaded a new version. Would you be so kind to test it with ADF and Duplex ADF and attach the log file?

Thank you very much for your help and your patience.

    Second test version

Alright made another test with the new version.
With nothing changed or selected icopy uses the flatbed (simplex only) and works like it should.
When ADF only selected icopy uses he ADF for simplex scanning and works like expected since i did not enabled duplex.
When is enable ADF + Duplex icopy uses the flatbed and produces a error.
I will upload the log file.

    regaqrds,

Here I am with another test version! I'm sorry I'm wasting your time. This time you can test just the ADF + Duplex, since the other two mode are working good.

Thank you very much for your help!

just tested v3. enabled adf & duplex and as soon as i press the scan button i got a windows error (see error3.txt) and icopy cpmpletely hangs.
    Testing no problem.

    v4 logfile

v4. Duplex + ADF works. When i enable adf wothout duplex ic scan's singel sided adf and also pri'nt's simplex like it should.
So everything works ok except this. When i disable adf and enable duplex itc scans only 1 page from flatbed and then print's it while i would expect it to wait for the next page to create a duplex printout.
btw would it also possible to send output to outlook to create a e-mail with the scan as attachment? perhaps next step.

    regards,

    edwin

I'm glad that duplex is working.
As for the flatbed + duplex, does your scanner support that feature? I think that ADF is required for duplex, but I don't have any ADF scanner here. If the scanner supports this, it should be easy to modify the code.

I will have a look at the Outlook integration.

no the flatbed does not have native duplex support but you could create a manual duplex by scannning first en second page in onde go so you create a 2 page cache which you print. That way someone could create a duplex copie from two single sided originals. for instance a few pages from a book which will not fit through the ADF :)

That's what the Scan Multiple Pages was made for (you can find it under Other Scan Modes). iCopy keeps asking for pages till the users clicks on print. You can enable duplex printing in the printer settings, so you can duplex print as many single sided pages as you want.
The Duplex checkbox that I added is meant for ADF Duplex, so in the final release I will disable it if ADF is not selected.

;(( mist the multiple page option!
Will also test with a few other scanner. I've got a Avision AV122 myself and a friend has a fujitsu and some others

Thanks! Your tests are very important for me, because it is very difficult to write code that works with every scanner, considering that I have just one flatbed scanner!
Feel also free to comment on the Multiple Pages feature! I'm interested in any feedback on the program to make it better.
