Then you has 2 or more multicast members on one interface, and switching multicast groups, there is a problem with others devices. Multicsat is frieze
on it, then other client leave this group, until other devices resend membership query.

So feature request is in monitoring multiple members on one interface, may be by IP address, and remove multicast route entry only if all members send leave for group.

Daemonization possibilities

Please include daemonization possibilities to new versions.
The reason for this request is that a restart of the proxy will interrupt the forwarding for existing downstream connections when a new is added.

Bidirectionnal igmp routing

Hi,
The second bigest ISP in France as launched an UPNP AV solution between an IPTV box (directly connected to the ADSL Modem and computers inside the LAN.
In the case your computer is behind a personnal router, you need to use an igmp proxy to route multicast traffic (SSDP). The case is that there is an IGMP handshake between the computer and the IPTV (located on the wan side).
Igmpproxy seems only to be able to route igmp traffic in one direction.
It would be great if it was possible to do it in 2 direction

request for igmp v3 support

it would be really nice to have igmp v3 support, too. igmpproxy is used for ip-tv on linux (including i.e. dd-wrt) and openbsd routers by many customers of a major german internet & ip-tv company as a replacement to the company´s crappy standard routers.
the company intends to rely on igmp v3 features in the future and it would be cool to not have to move back to their standard routers ;)
