Is their a non-Gnome Imprints client?

I don't ever run anything more than i need to on a
production server. (Like X, Gnome, KDE etc )

Is their a Tk or some other non-X or non-Gnome client?
(using just the command line interface or like linuxconf?

I am new to print serving under Linux, and Imprints
seems like the only option. But i can't imagine having to
run XFree86, Gnome, etc just to download print drivers.
It will defeat my argument at work that we can use old
machines due to Linux low overhead and small
resources foot print.

imprint gpg problems

Since I don't have an extensive background in gpg, I'm
not sure how to resolve this (and whether you can
help):

mkprintpkg.pl

A problem was found in using mkprintpkg.pl doing
packaging for a LexMark NT driver. The problem is
related to the file name in the CopyFiles section,
where it uses something like @.\FileName. The script
strips away @ and leaves .\FileName as expected (via
module INF). In the section of the script, which copies
destination files to the architecture subdirectory, it
can not determine if a .\FileName is among those in the
working directory, which includes FileName.

I do not know if it is strange for Lexmark to specify a
file like this. Since all driver files are extracted to
a working directory, I would think the script should
strip away any path information of a file entity in INF
file.

Please fix this problem.

imprints 0.0.9b-1.src.rpm problems.

Hi guys,

I'm looking forward to trying your imprints gui-client to
install my printer drivers, as I don't have a NT4.0 or
w2k client, and want to upload drivers for win98 clients.

however, when I run rpm --rebuild
imprints-0.0.9b-1.src.rpm it fails with this:

I cannot find these programs in the .tar.gz file
either. It builds fine btw. is it just something you
forgot to remove from the .spec-file?

Hi,
I have a problem using Imprints, I always get the this
error:
Can't locate INF.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /tmp/c

I never programed Perl so I've got no Idea what could
be wrong.
I use SuSe Linux 7.2 (Kernel 2.4.4) and all the
required packets stated in the documentation are
installed on my system.

Imprints configuration problems...

Hi,

We have installed samba 2.2.0. Seems to work fine...
But we have over 400 printers and navigating to the
Printers folder doesn't work.

What I understand it's possible to use Imprints to
solve this problem?

Unfortunately I have some problems configure and
building it on solaris 2.8. I get the following error:

checking for gnome-config... ./gnome-config-missing.sh
checking for gnome-config... no
checking for gnomeConf.sh file in /usr/local/lib... not
found
configure: error: Could not find the gnomeConf.sh file
that is generated by gnome-libs install

Why does Imprints need gnome-files?

Any help appreciated!
