seen with the regular Apple firmware.  Most often the&lt;br /&gt;
result is that an attempt to play a MP3 results in the&lt;br /&gt;
iPod rebooting.  This appears to happen quite&lt;br /&gt;
consistenly when the Apple firmware is the default&lt;br /&gt;
firmware to start on boot but not when the Linux&lt;br /&gt;
firmware is the default.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;There seems to be a race condition in the way the&lt;br /&gt;
