and as part of the information for individual tracks,
but the information does not appear to pull correctly
from the empeg - all files are reporting as having a
track number of 0, regardless of if the file actually
has a track number stored on the empeg or not. If this
feature were added/fixed, JEmpeg would finally be my
end-all solution, as it is, emplode still does a better
job with downloads off of the player, as it will at
least put the track number in the file name if one is
present. Thanks!

Ogg/Flac or Simply custom codec

I'd like JEmplode to pick up from the file's extension if
it's .ogg or .flac, then set the codec to "ogg" or "flac". I
don't care too much about it pulling out the correct tag
information, at this stage of the game, since I can
modify those myself once the file is in.

Otherwise, if the above isn't feasible ... I'd like the ability
to modify the codec field in JEmplode to manually set it
to "ogg" or "flac"

As for this being unsupported in the Empeg software ...
It's sort of a chicken and egg thing. We've got RioPlay
able to use ogg/flac, but nothing to drop an ogg/flac file
into the empeg database for RioPlay to find.

Are you planning to release the source code for
jempeg ? I'd like to try porting it to the EPOC
Netbook system so I can use it as a neater way of
choosing tracks in the car, as opposed to the slow
navigation way that you have to use when you've got x
thousands of tunes.

Cheers,
